May Allah accept all of your prayers and charity and good deeds, especially those done in these last ten blessed days (the best days of the year), especially for whoever did qurbani.
You guys did qurbani, right? Maybe next year, we should do an “MG pool” of funds for it. I tried this with my extended family, and it works pretty well.

My family usually sends money to have it done back home. We have done it here more than a few times, but like you Ive only ever watched or held the animal down.

I would be up for it
Cleaning a lamb is much a longer task than I ever expected. Gives you appreciation of where your food comes from. I need to work out more if I were to try slaughtering a sheep myself. Otherwise I’m pretty sure it would just run away…

@Mew cool. BTW, it’s probably too late for this year (most places take orders up to the 1-2 days before Eid). InshaAllah we can organize something next year.
