THE TOURNAMENT IS IN PROGRESS NOT IN PROGRESS

Assallamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu

I hereby invite you all to the first official [MG] Warlight tournament.

As this is the first tournament, and as the site has not gone public yet and I am not expecting too many players, The first place prize will be me bugging @AbrarSyed to start a new flair or tag titled “Warlight Champion”.

My hope is that as we play more and more Warlight tournaments, the flair/badge will pass around to the current winner. Winners will receive a permanent badge of “Winner of Warlight Tournament #1”. When we get more players and the site is going public i will look into better prizes.

This first tournament will be a Round Robin tournament. Each player may take up to 3 days to take their turns. All match setup etc. will be handled by the in game Warlight tournament setup. All matches will be 1v1 on a generic world map as this is the first tournament.

To participate in the tournament please go to www.warlight.net and make an account. then post the link to your account profile as a reply. After we receive a sufficient number of players, I will give people 2 more days to join before starting the tournament. After playing a game, please send the game link in the replies below so that we may have a replay of all the matches. Thank you.

Feel free to click on each participants profile link and add them to your friends list. Remember, to participate you need to make an account and post your profile link in the thread. Otherwise when I setup the tournament I wont know who to add.

i recommend the tutorial and maybe some practice 1v1s vs me or random people online. I will be more than happy to tutor people before the tournament

Agree that it’s rigged … most of us noobs will have no chance against Level 41 goliath.

That said, I’m not quitting without a fight. (Even if I get my head handed to me.)

The matches will be 1v1 with my wins not counting because first tournament
That being said. Steam rolling is no fun, I am willing to start several games with anyone and we will remove ht fog and I can teach you how to play.

the tournament itself will have games that have up to 3 day turns. I dont mind doing that for the practice games either @Severok. One of the reasons I play warlight is because its so convenient for my current schedule. make and account, post it here, and let me know if you want to practice

I’ve installed it on my phone and started playing the single player stages.
So far it is 100% Risk, though I am assuming that it will add more mechanics as things progress.

Asad, if I beat you in the practice round, you can’t have a rematch in the real one. It doesn’t work the other way though. :wink:
